Here in Florida we don't get to carve our pumpkins early. If you carve them more than two or three days ahead they will rot and that's not good. So yesterday we let the kids carve their two pumpkins.
Daddy supervised!
Careful with that knife Hunt!
Get it girl!
Eww pumpkin guts!
Hunter chose a scary scarecrow
Maddi chose a mummy
Notice the extremely dirty hands. Gross!
Hunter and Scott had fun throwing pumpkin parts at each other!
Maddi gave up and Scott had to finish hers.
I love love love this picture of Maddi and Scott
There they are! Hunter did his completely by himself! He did a great job! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! HAVE A WONDERFUL SAFE NIGHT AND DON'T LET THE GOBLINS GET YOU!

Happy Birthday to Me!
Wow! I can't believe I am 38 years old! I still feel like a 15 year old. Where did all the years go? 38 seems so old, it's almost 40 you know? I can't possibly be almost 40! That's like really old! So I thought today would be a good reminiscing day!
I was born Dawn Angelique deValcourt but my Aunt Jo (Thank you) said I looked like an angel and should be called Angie, so thanks to my 2nd momma I am Angie not Dawn which I will be eternally grateful for. Not that there is anything wrong with the name Dawn, it is just not me and it is also dish washing detergent. My Dad was still determined to call me Dawn until he went to the pharmacy and they spelled my name Don and he got mad and said "fine we'll call her Angie". Yay me! I have 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 step-brothers, 2 step sisters a multitude of nieces and nephews, i'm talking in the 20's y'all and I'm also a great Aunt. Whew! Thank goodness I'm not a Grandma! All of my brothers and sisters are half, I have no whole ones. No they aren't cut in half but we all share the same Mom and have different Dads. I have one younger step sister and then all the others are at least 8 years older than me. I am really "the baby" of the family. I am fiesty and firery and I have very strong opinions and beliefs. I am a strong christian and love Jesus with all my heart. I was fiesty from the begining, Dad said when I was in nursery school I told him I got in trouble because I was trying to "take Marks tempature with a stick". Opps! I also loved Kenfucky extra crissy fried chicken and would curse like a sailor thanks to my lovely gorgeous momma with the potty mouth!
Oh yes, I was a stinker! Still am. But I love with my whole heart and hate injustice. I should have become a super hero or something! LOL!
I always knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, a mommy and wife. Big ambition right. That's why i'm so thankful to have found photography, something I really love to do. I've never done drugs in my life and was often called a "goody two shoes" even with my potty mouth!
I loved being in drama in school because I am a Drama Queen! I was often found on stage in the school plays. I was almost always cast as the love lorn teen. Really? ugh! What is with that. You know all the songs with my name in them are all about going away! Dawn, the song I was named after, ugh was about boys telling a girl named Dawn to go away he was no good for her. Angie Baby by Helen Ready was about a girl who kills boys with her radio (I kid you not) and then there is ANNNNNNGGIIEEEE ugh! Please! Someone come out with a good song!
Okay, so you get the picture. My life hasn't always been pretty but it has been full. I was so thankful to meet Scott and marry him. I was thrilled to have my babies and I am grateful to all God has blessed me with. As the Gosslins say: It isn' t a perfect life but it is my life. :O)

Pumpkin and Sunflower Patch/Milton, Florida Photographer
We were so amazed as we came upon this wonderful little piece of fall heaven! The first thing we noticed was the huge sunflower patch! It was gorgeous! We got out and went into the cute little store with the sweet little porch and rocking chairs. The smell of boiled peanuts and brightly colored pumpkins met us as we walked inside. Then, they offered us a bowl of free boiled peanuts! How awesome is that? We asked how much the hay ride and pumpkins were. I was expecting exorbitant prices, but they surprised us with $5 pumpkins (any size) and a free hayride with every pumpkin purchased! Wow! What a deal! We skipped the hayride since we had just ridden one and opted to walk. It wasn't far and it made for beautiful pictures. Check them out!
The hayride returning
This place was just amazing
Maddi just thought this pumpkin was the cutest thing!
My little man actually let me take a picture of him with out silly faces!
What a wonderful place. I highly recommend the pumpkin patch and the corn maze. They were both wonderful and inexpensive!

Fall Wonderful Fall!/Milton Florida Photographer
This weekend was a busy one filled with Pumpkin Patches, Corn Mazes, Cemeteries, and Corn Shooters! We had a blast! We also helped a good cause by bringing canned goods for the needy and we got a dollar off the admission to the corn maze! I am going to take one thing at a time and start with the corn maze and tommorrow I will do a blog on the Pumpkin and Sunflower Patches!
Running through the corn maze! It was difficult, not as bad as last year though! We didn't finish last year!
My buddy Shelia! We have such a good time together!
The kids loved finding all the numbers!
Who is that hiding in the corn?
Shelia! We were hiding from the kids because they took off and left us! No worries, they found us quickly!
The end! Wow! We made it! The kids loved ringing the bell to signify we made it through!
Just chillin on the hay!
Hayride time!
Pretty Miss E!
He needs a haircut so bad but won't let me cut it. Someone asked him if it was a wig! LOL!
This is one of the many goofy faces he makes when I take his picture.
Love it!
And this is a punkin butt face!
We shot corn cannons...
rode on a cow train.....
looked at cows....
lay in the hay
Shot rubber duckies with water...
rode tire horses......
jumped on huge tires...
and roped some cattle!
